Currently retired he worked for thirty years for the Fairfax County Office for Children School Age Child Care program as Child Care Professional and a Regional Supervisor, finding opportunities to teach both school age children and Child Care Professionals about artistic concepts and mediums including photography.
Jeanne Mitcho-Jeanne became interested in photography in 2007 just when digital became affordable. I’ve been a member of Manassas Warrenton Camera Club since then, and have given workshops on Lightroom and abstract photography. My work has been consistently juried into Nature Visions, the annual Joseph Miller Abstract Exhibit and was featured in the former Art Beat Gallery in Manassas. I’ve had 12 winning photos and 24 finalists on Better Photo.com. I especially enjoy the challenge of abstract and bird photography.
